Luc is a director at Detail Green. Luc is an engineer by training and has been working as an ESD consultant since 2006. He has extensive experience as a Passivhaus Consultant & NatHERS Assessor as well as being Australia’s most experienced Passivhaus building certifier. Luc also has considerable experience in energy efficiency auditing and commercial construction.
Luc is passionate about ensuring buildings are designed and constructed to minimise their environmental impact.
Luc likes to get on with the job and is not one to waste time on unnecessary fluff so he can make time for his love of sharing the outdoors with family and friends, especially skiing and mountain biking.
Emilia is an electrical engineer who joined Detail Green in late 2018.
Emilia has significant experience in residential Passivhaus design and certification plus NatHERS assessments. Emilia also has extensive energy efficiency auditing and automotive engineering experience.
Emilia is passionate about energy efficiency and build quality as wants new buildings to last even longer than those built hundreds of years ago.
Emilia loves the connectiveness of inner-city life, visiting galleries and museums, seeing live performances, watching movies, reading, hanging out with friends and cats!
Paul Gray is an engineer by training with a deep passion for building science and sustainability. Since joining Detail Green in late 2019, he has brought a wealth of practical experience in residential construction, coupled with an unwavering commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
A Dual Olympian in cross-country skiing, Paul knows the value of discipline, collaboration, and perseverance—qualities that shape his approach to designing comfortable, healthy buildings that stand the test of time. He believes in engaging early, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of innovation to create homes that are not only energy-efficient but built for generations to come.
Outside of work, Paul lives in the beautiful Kiewa Valley at the foothills of Mt Bogong with his wife and two daughters. Together, they share a love for the outdoors and adventure, embracing all that nature has to offer—from skiing in the winter to hiking, road cycling, mountain biking, and exploring the mountains year-round. He also enjoys the odd game of tennis, adding another layer of activity to his love for the outdoors.
